Apple and Samsung are the two most profitable mobile phone makers in the market today.
The two of them combined had 74% of mobile handset industry revenues while the rest of the companies are struggling to keep up with them.
Apple had 80% of all the profits in the mobile phone business where as Samsung accounted the rest.

Apps: the new advertising platform
Report shows that ads within smartphone applications have become the new distribution method for media on mobile phones.
Analysts estimate that advertisers will spend $2.9 billion on apps advertising and consumers will spend $26.1 billion to buy them.
This result is due to rapid development of smartphones and smartphone applications in terms of quality and customer satisfaction.

BlackBerry the most secure mobile OS?
Trend Micro has said that Blackberry 7.0 is the most secure mobile operating system for enterprise.
The research was conducted on the basis of built-in security , application security, authentication, device wipe, device firewall and virtualisation features.
BlackBerry stood in the first place followed by iOS, Windows Phone and Android.
