Update for iPhone 4

Apple has released iOS 5.1.1 update for iPhone 4 GSM units. This version has features such as Airplay fixes, improvement of HDR reliability when using the lock screen shortcut and a security path for a Safari exploit.

Apple to ditch Google Maps in iOS 6

According to sources Apple will ditch Google Map in iOS6. Apple is going to replace Google Maps with its own 'Maps' app with an Apple backend. The new app will be more cleaner,faster and will have more reliable experience. The most important feature of the new Maps app is its 3D mode.

Facebook - App Center

Facebook has started its new App Center on the web and in mobile versions will let you buy web apps. The website will also have shopping portal which will allow the consumers to buy premium games and other apps. For now Facebook is only allowing developer beta sign-ups and the apps will have to wait.

BlackBerry 10

RIM has finally shown some of the features of its BlackBerry 10 operating system which is designed to work on phones as well as tablets . BlackBerry 10 is expected to launch later this year and some of its features include multitasking, camera , onscreen keyboard etc.
