App developers of iOS claim that Apple has begun rejecting apps that access UDID.
The unique identifier of iOS device or UDID are used by developers to track user behavior. Thus iOS app developers are compelled to find a new alternative .

Does iPad battery indicator lie?

There seems to be some problem in the battery indicator of the new iPad.
Research from Ray Soneira of DisplayMate explained that Apple's new tablet continued to charge despite the onscreen indicator showing it to be full.
Furthermore, the new iPad's retina display also consumed more power than the previous model.

Facebook sued by Yahoo

Yahoo has alleged that Facebook violated 10 of its patents and has filed a case in the U.S District Court in San Jose, California.
The suit appeared after Yahoo and Facebook couldn't come to an agreement over the issue.
Yahoo claims that it innovated in several fronts , including messaging , news feed generation , social commenting advertising display, preventing click fraud and privacy controls .

RIM has acquired Paratek Adaptive RF which designs and manufactures adaptive radio frequency front-end components for cell phones.
With Paratek technology Blackberry users will be able to upload and download data faster, have a long battery life , will have lesser dropped calls and a new design will make phones smaller .

Credit Card the new platform for apps

Credit cards are being targeted as the new platform for apps - platform in this case is the payment network. Software developers add new capabilities to these cards by programming the payment network to link online applications to specific payment events. Consumers then, can 'drag and drop' these apps to their smart cards similar to how they add apps to their smartphones.
