Windows phone to compete with Android and iPhone

Nokia is going to unveil Lumia 610 which is designed to support lower end processors , so that it has advantages over cheaper Android devices especially in the developing world. It will have a 3.2 inch display and a 3 Mp camera. Nokia is also expected to introduce Nokia 900 to the global market which was already unveiled for the U.S market earlier. Water resistant smartphone

Fujutsu is introducing a new water-resistant smartphone in near future which looks a little like the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc.Prototype of the phone is equipped with 4.6 inch screen, 1.5 Ghz Tegra 3 processor, 1 Gb RAM, 13MP camera, a fingerprint scanner with dust and water resistant casing.

This device may bring a revolution in the smartphone and tablet market.

New Tablet to be introduced by Panasonic

Panasonic is possibly going to introduce a new device which includes a dual-core processor , a bigger screen and a front-facing camera. Panasonic is also rumored to launch a new tablet which will be different than the current available tablets and also customer oriented.

Apple introduces OS X 10.8

Apple has announced OS X 10.8 named Mountain Lion. This new OS brings with it some features from iOS onto the OS X.

Mountain Lion will include OS X versions of iMessage, Reminders, Notes, Notification Center, Twitter Integration, Game Center and AirPlay Mirroring. The main feature of OS X 10.8 is the 'Notification Center' which is going to be a system level notification system. More smartphones than humans on the Planet ?

Cisco has predicted that there could be more smartphones on the planets than the humans by the end of the year.  Furthermore, the growth will mainly increase from Middle East and Africa which means that there could be 10 billion smartphones by 2016.

Will Vita OS replace Android ?

Vita OS, the operating system that powers the Playstation may replace Android in Sony's future phones and tablets.
Due to heavy loss in 2011 Sony has focused mainly in gaming in order to compete in the market. However this is not fully decided as Kazuo Hirai, Sony's upcoming president and CEO was in discussions with other companies regarding the use of their Playstation Suite for Android SDK. Google's Chrome and Android

Google chrome is finally here for Android users who are on the Ice Cream Sandwich version of the OS. The beta version of Chrome will not support Flash as Chrome for Android will never run Flash as confirmed by Adobe.
