Apple has announced OS X 10.8 named Mountain Lion. This new OS brings with it some features from iOS onto the OS X.
Mountain Lion will include OS X versions of iMessage, Reminders, Notes, Notification Center, Twitter Integration, Game Center and AirPlay Mirroring. The main feature of OS X 10.8 is the 'Notification Center' which is going to be a system level notification system.
