There was 13% increase in iOS 6 upgrade from Monday to Wednesday after Apple introduced Google Maps for iOS.
Apple Maps had many defects and users upgraded to iOS 6 only after Google Maps was integrated .
It is assumed that more than 10 million installs were done in the first 48 hours after Google Maps was included.
